We are excited to announce that our startup, Nettle TO BV, has been awarded the MIT R&D Subsidie grant in the Netherlands in 2022. This grant, which is part of the Mkb-Innovatiestimulering Regio en Topsectoren (MIT), provides funding for collaborative R&D projects.
We are thrilled to have Materials Factory as our partner in this project, and together we aim to develop and optimize the processing of nettle into purified fiber for biocomposites at an industrial scale. Our goal is not only to improve the existing composites but also to explore and develop new composite materials and applications.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to RVO (Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland) for their support of our R&D activities. With their help, we hope to create new, strong biocomposites based on nettle fiber.
